Ste Justine de Newton 100 or 120 km Difficulty level: Moderate This ride leaves from the St Charles Shopping Center in Kirkland, at the corner of St Charles and Hymus Boulevard. You will have to use the map exit of Montreal Island via Dorion for the first portion and for the return to the parking lot. We head West through Hudson, Rigaud and St.Redempteur to Ste.Justine de Newton, our turn around point. Fairly flat, but a challenging distance. Ste-Justine de Newton is named after the fabled nun who, recognising that cyclists riding out from Kirkland would be hungry by the time they reached this town, would treat them to fig-Newtonís as they arrived. The effects were deemed to be miraculous, which earned her sainthood. In her honor this town is the place of both the start and finish of the club's most prestigious ride, the annual Century.
